IBM® Integration Bus Healthcare Pack builds on IBM Integration Bus to provide support for integration applications in healthcare environments. Typical topics for this user group will center around:

  • Using Messaging module to parse, route, and transform HL7/FHIR messages in a message flow. Creating and managing Input and output nodes for integrating HL7/FHIR clinical applications with your message flows.
  • Integrating applications with medical devices, so that you can capture data. Integrating with DICOM Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) and DICOM modalities, to locate, process, and transfer DICOM images by using message flows.
  • Healthcare-specific patterns to generate solutions for connecting medical applications. Extracting information from healthcare data in message flows and routing to data warehouses for analysis.
  • Conversion of HIPAA files to XML files by using the Healthcare: HIPAA to XML pattern.
