  • 1.  ICP4D Installation Completed but URL is not coming up

    Hi ,

    I have completed the installation for ICP for Data V1.1.0.2 on linux . Port 31483 is listening but 8443 is not listening hence I'm not able to access any of the consoles.

    Can anyone advice me the action please . Its a 3 node setup and currently only one pod is facing issue in master node :

    kubectl get pods --all-namespaces | grep -v "Running"

    NAMESPACE NAME READY STATUS RESTARTS AGE
    zen zen-metastoredb-0 0/1 CrashLoopBackOff 16 59m

    Please help me out on this issue

    Hello Prayank, 

    Please check ntp is synced between three nodes. Most probably there is a time difference between nodes. 
    Regarding the port 8443, hope you test the load balancer prior to install as mentioned in the this link `https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSQNUZ_1.2.0/com.ibm.icpdata.doc/zen/install/testldbal.html#testldbal`.

    Lastly, instead of ICP for Data V1.1.0.2, I will suggest to use v.1.2.0 as many issues addressed in the newer version.

    Thanks for your response . Servers are in sync and there is no load balancer in my setup .

    Could you please help me find v1.2 which is the new version as I'm not able to find in xtreme leverage

    Hello Prayank, 

    Please check the Download Product section in https://apps.na.collabserv.com/wikis/home?lang=en-us#!/wiki/Wad05a60c93ed_4ba2_a0e4_1a65f4050865/page/Installation. 

    Couple of suggestion about your existing cluster issue. 

    1) Check the install log at /<install dir>/InstallPackage/tmp/wdp.*.log for successful install or any error during install.
    2) Make sure all pods are running/complete state in zen and kube-system namespaces.
