IDz <=> ISPF Productivity Benchmark

These are the results of a Benchmark done with RDz (precursor to IDz) back in 2010. 

In a timed side-by-side comparison, users went thru a standard, maintenance workflow:

  • Accessing files
  • Navigating source programs
  • Code Analysis
  • Code modifications
  • Build
  • DB2/SQL work
Of note, the products used were ISPF v6.0 and RDz v7,6 - which is missing ~1/3rd of the productivity functionality available in today's IDz/ADFz products.
