I have been working in ocean engineering for all of my career. My primary focus is on the design of autonomy systems for the marine environment. As a logical extension to this work, I have been exploring how machine learning and cognitive systems can help solve problems at the intersection of the business world and ocean engineering. I am currently leading the design and development of the AI based marine autonomy systems for the Mayflower Autonomous Ship.
