IBM Z Client Skills Leader for Europe ------
Paul is a very experienced Software Development Manager and Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS), with over 30 years in the IT Industry. Mainly based in IBM’s Hursley location near Winchester in the UK, Paul has also spent 18 months on assignment in New York.
Over the course of his career to date, Paul has held a variety of different leadership roles within IBM. Ranging from Software Development to Business Management Strategy, Marketing and HR. In this latter role Paul was the IBM University Relations, Top Talent and Management Development Manager for the IBM UK.
Paul’s interest in University Relations, Skills, Diversity and Recruitment stretch back more than 20 years.
In addition to his current IBM Z Skills role, he is the IBM Relationship Manager for Southampton University, a role he has retained for the last 15 years, and Chair of the ECS Industrial Liaison Committee.
Paul has also represented IBM on the industrial Advisory Boards at both Oxford University (Software Engineering) and Edinburgh University (Engineering).
Paul is a science graduate and alumnus of Southampton University Business School and PMI Certified Project Manager.
