Bio

Mark is a Government, Non-Profit, Industrial, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Financial Services and Retail Consultant with over 30 years of Industry experience helping clients improve their business strategy and operations through the application of advanced technologies and transformation services; including Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Information Management and Supply Chain.

During his career with IBM Mark’s roles have included Program & Product Manager, Industry Consultant, Sales & Business Development Executive and Client Success Leader. Currently, Mark is an Offering Manager covering Go To Market strategies for IBM ZaaS. Prior to his most recent assignment, Mark led the transformation of Client Success within Watson Health; as well as performing the role of Watson Health Implementation Market Adoption Leader and the Global Offering Manager for Healthcare & Life Sciences, including supporting Watson Health Consulting offerings and product strategy in Life Sciences and GHHS. Mark also led IBM’s efforts in the Industrial Sector as a Global Solutions Executive for Chemical & Petroleum positioning IBM’s advanced analytics and Watson solutions; as well as an Industry Consultant covering all sub-sectors with the Information Agenda Tiger Team and the Big Data Industry Team. During his time on the Information Agenda Team, Mark also led the Information Management Framework Program as a cross brand selling initiative with an Industry focus across software, hardware and services.

Prior to joining IBM, Mark has held positions as Vice President, Director of Consulting, Project Management and Consultant in a number of SAP Business Partner companies. During his career he has implemented Ledger systems, Point of Sale, Billing, CRM, EHR/EMR systems, ERP systems, SCADA & HMI tools, Production Planning applications, Inventory systems (with automation), RFID technology, MES and LIMS; some of which were large custom development projects while others were packaged solutions from 3rd parties. Mark is APICS Certified in Supply Chain Management, Recipe Management Certified and Solution Selling Certified. He also has technical certifications in SQL, MS-Access and Dbase; as well as several coding languages.  Mark has a Business degree from Averett University, Danville, VA, and a Master of Theology degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, GA.
