    Hello,

I have been trying to about 3 or 4 days to find out what is happening with my logon for MTM2020. I don't know if my ID is valid any longer or my password needs to be reset (which I can't find were to do that). A little help would be great so I can continue.

    thank you

    Hi Richard,
While at https://mtm.masterthemainframe.com/challenges, you will notice a 'Help' Tab at the TOP CENTRE. If you click on the 'Help' Tab, one of the options that you will come across is the 'ID / Password Tools'. If you click on the 'ID / Password Tools' option, you will find a link 'Click here to RESET your password' - please follow the instructions there to successfully reset your password.

    Hi SUBHASISH,

I'm also in mtm 2020 and cannot access the mainframe from VS Code. I understand I need to reset my mainframe password, id is Z03081. I followed your instructions and received the message: "Your password has been reset please check edit profile for an updated password." In the edit profile window, I did not find a new password. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks for your help,

    Anita

    Hi Anita,
I will say that you did follow the correct procedure to get your password reset. However, that you did not see a new password in the edit profile window most probably indicates that due to one reason or the other, a new password was probably not generated on the mainframe. Do give a try twice or thrice and wait for a while between the retries. If you still don't see a new password after a few retries, give it a break for a while; enjoy a cup of coffee or go for that walk with your dog or do something else! You can try again later and hopefully, you would grab hold of a new password sooner rather than later.

    Hi there,

Once you reset the password, it should be given again in challenge 1.2, when you first obtained it. At least that's how I have done it.

    I hope it helps.
