  • 1.  Problem reported and fixed in2012 reappears in RBD 9.6

Hi,  I reported a problem with the grid layout in 2012 (PMR 92894,031,649 APAR PM76204) it was fixed by IBM and ran fine over the years. Now after migrating the EGL RUI application to 9.6 and running it, it shows the same wrong behavior. It shows a data grid the first time and works fine. After going thru  some detail pages I show the data grid again and there is only a blob visible where the data grid should appear.
I could try to use the gridlayout.egl that I got as a fix in 2013 but I am not sure that it is a good  idea to run this in the 9.6 environment.

    Any advice would be appreciated
    Claus

    Hi,
I think the gridlayout.egl file from 2013 is not compatible anymore.
You have to open a new service request.

    Kind Regards!

    Hi Claus,

There are some defect fixes against GridLayout.egl which limited to the file only. So theoretically you could just replace it with your version. However, we still suggest you to open a new PMR so that we can fix it in the product. Thanks.
