  • 1.  Connection drop's after some seconds connected

    Hi,

    I'm having a problem with a VM Linux running ZDT 12.0.4. When I connect using IDZ 14.2.0 the connection almost automatically dropps with the message "Connection to Remote System Explorer lost", there is no further message in RSED log. When using PCOMM the connection is dropped and after reconnecting in the ZOS console there is a S622 message in the log. The network team monitoring the situation says there is no lost packets in the network. Has someone had this problem before and can help me?

    I've seen such issues where ZD&T is hosted in Cloud environments like Open Stack - where the networking is complex and multiple firewalls.  Where you are connecting PCOMM/IDZ from outside of that environment.  If this is the case for you and you have Linux/Networking skills to hand,  try network tracing on the Linux instance where ZD&T is running.
