What is the CICS TS open beta:
The CICS TS open beta show cases the latest release of CICS Transaction Server that is currently under development. In the open beta there are a raft of new features and functions, that have been developed with client input, designed to meet the business opportunities not only of today but in the future. The CICS TS open beta is supported by development who are just a short click away – they will answer any questions you have, help you with any technical issue and help to resolve any problems you might encounter.
Why participate:
The CICS TS open beta offers a unique opportunity to see the direction IBM is following with its state of the art flagship z/OS product. It will provide insight in to the industry and give organisations a chance to get ahead of the game and be ready for day 1 availability of the product. Education is provided at no cost to give full insight in to what can be done and what is possible with the next release of CICS Transaction Server. In addition development are keen to hear your views on the product and will endeavour to adapt or change the way functions work if appropriate. This means any organisation can have an impact on the product development and influence the product direction and how it works.

Learn about the new features in the CICS TS open beta education:
There will be 2 sessions both starting at 3:00 PM UK Time, the first will be on Thursday 11th February and will cover changes to CICS foundation and security. The second session will be on Thursday 18th February and will cover Java, Node.js and the CICS Ansible collection.
