On Thursday 30 September, the third CICS Technical Exchange took place, featuring talks from Mark Cocker, Ledina Hido-Evans, Tom Foyle and Jenny He, with the event being hosted by Nick Garrod. This event covered the latest continuous delivery news as well as open beta updates and then focused sessions on the CMCI server allowing developers to get more out of the CICS Explorer without setting up CPSM, and bringing listeners up to date with the latest CICS policies. With this jam packed agenda there was still time at the end for some 'Ask us Anything' questions.

Attendees could post questions in the WebEx chat that were monitored and answered in the 'chat area' by members of the CICS team during the session as well as the Ask Me Anything session at the end.

A PDF of the material presented at the event can be found as an attachment to this piece and a link to the recording can be found here

We aim to schedule future CTEs on a quarterly basis to coincide with CICS continuous delivery drops, so keep those eyes peeled for an event in 4Q. We plan to feature both new technology as well as revisiting capability delivered in prior releases that may have been missed, forgotten, or just made available at a time that was inconvenient to deploy. So please let us know any topics you would like future sessions to focus on, or any comments you have on how we could improve future events.

Keep a look out for the next event in 4Q.
