  • 1.  Slack workspace access

    Hi, 
    How can I get access to the Slack workspace? I need to reset my password using the Zih app.
    I'm super new to Slack so I created a free account. When I tried to use the Slack hot links in the intro email with my TN3270 account details, they don't function. I get a "your browser is unable to open this link" error. 

    I'm at my wits end on being able to connect into the workspace. 

    Any ideas?

    Is it normal that I have to register for every Slack workspace separately? I'm now part of "Master the Mainframe" and "Open Mainframe Project" but was asked to register on Slack for both. Is there also a way to add additional workspaces to an already existing account?

    Alas, this is normal. Every Slack workspace has its own login and password, and there's no way to consolidate them.

    I may be down the wrong rabbit hole; I'm unable to get an invite to the Open Mainframe Project Slack: I am getting the ominous "invite_limit_reached" message when I try to sign-up.

    Is there really a limit of only 3308 users?

    I used the same login info for both. Slack knew I was logged in to Open Mainframe and joined it. I see a little down arrow that allows me to switch workspaces within a session (Web version). In the app I have a little icon on the left side to select which workspace I want to use.  I have a third unrelated workspace that shows up as a selection as well.

    It is showing invite id expired. can you please provide the invite again?

    ​A B Mukesh Kumar Behera, do you mean the Slack for the Open Mainframe Project or MTM? The latter has been moved to the online forum with the change to IBM Z Xplore. You can find it here: https://ibmzxplore.influitive.com/forum/. The one for the Open Mainframe Project still works for me.
