  • 1.  Personal Communications ver. 15 - Preventing paging during mouse scroll

    Posted Mon November 20, 2023 03:29 PM

I have been upgraded to IBM Personal Communications version 15. If I accidentally scroll my mouse it will page up (PF7) or a page down (PF8) on my TSO screen. Drives me crazy! Has anyone found a way to turn off the scrolling? I have looked under settings > Mouse setup and the only thing I see is the option to map your left mouse and right mouse buttons. Any other suggestions would save my sanity.

Yeah, that's the article that explains how to map your left and right mouse buttons. I am trying to find a way to stop paging up\down when I scroll the mouse. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Phil, You may need to check your IBM Personal Communications configuration, the mouse scroll can be set to scroll the screen you can trun that or remove that scroll option form your configuration.  BlueZone mainframe display Emulator has the same functionality that i can use it .  Hope this helps
