I haven't taken this but did receive an email promoting it last week: https://www.microfocus.com/en-us/cobol. It's a free one-day COBOL course from OpenText (Microfocus).

I don't think this will answer you question, however you did also ask for additional training resources. ProTech Training offers COBOL and other Mainframe classes with both instructor led online classes. Here is a link to the COBOL offerings. Search for ProTech Courses

Happy to address questions regarding these offerings, if any.

I saw some courses in coursera, the likes of this: https://www.coursera.org/professional-certificates/ibm-mainframe-developer & many other offered in other websites.
So, specifically coursera professional certs like mainframe developer, is there any pathway in ibm training is equivalent to that?
I noticed ibm z practitioner course in ibm & coursera as pro cert. How about others? Can anyone in ibm list them for us, so we know which matches which & can save us time not relearn same thing, or earning same badge with different design.
Anyway. I'm new here. Eager for mainframe & cobol, hope to finish relevant courses before December 2024, welcome suggestions, engagement, & etc.
Thanks, happy new year.
