  • 1.  IDz Server Version Question

    Hello all,

     

    we want to install the latest maintenance and I want to know if it is correct that we see in the following installed Products

     

    IBM Explorer for z/OS v3.3.5             

    IBM z/OS Explorer Extensions v16.0.4.0   

     

    Previous we had

     

    IBM Explorer for z/OS v3.3.4           

    IBM z/OS Explorer Extensions v16.0.4.0 

     

    Is it correct that the IBM z/OS Explorer Extensions is not updated to v16.0.5.0

    Hi Frank, yes that is correct.   As you can see here https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/fix-list-ibm-developer-zos-and-ibm-developer-zos-enterprise-edition#16.0 and here https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-explorer-zos-fix-list most of the time there are both client and server updates for IDz, but with version 16.0.5 there was not an associated PTF for the z/OS Explorer Extensions.
