00:51 CICS requirements and requests have changed – how to navigate the new requirements portal – John Tilling, CICS TS  Development Lead

For many years, the IBM Request For Enhancement (RFE) Program has provided an opportunity for customers, business partners and IBMers to suggest changes to our products and services. However, we know from what you have told us that it hasn't always been easy to understand the status of your ideas. This is now about to change. We are now embarking on an IBM-wide program to provide you with a better way to tell us what you need.  We have migrated your ideas onto a single company-wide IBM Ideas Portal, where we are building a way to provide you with a single view into your ideas, an easier way to track them and the ability to collaborate with users, partners and IBMers around the world.  In this talk John will outline the procedures to use this new portal.

We aim to schedule future CTEs on a quarterly basis to coincide with CICS continuous delivery drops, so keep those eyes peeled for an event in 3Q. We plan to feature both new technology as well as revisiting capability delivered in prior releases that may have been missed, forgotten, or just made available at a time that was inconvenient to deploy. So please let us know any topics you would like future sessions to focus on, or any comments you have on how we could improve future events.

Keep a look out for the next event in 3Q.
