Im working with 9.6 and the first thing thats driving me crazy is the "IWN.VAL.9201.w 19/19 The ??? is never used locally." warning. Its not working correctly making the right side of the editor unusable since i cant even find my bookmarks.
Is there a way of turning this off until its corrected?
I think you may open a service request if you think it's not working as designed.
HCL is working on this issue. For now, can you please ignore this annoying warning?
Also can you please open a PMR to expedite the process?
Nick kindly raised a ticket for this and we are working on a test fix for the applicable defect I've created , APAR PH19139.
In the meantime I wanted to share my workaround in case you want to turn these off as Nick suggested. To turn off the warnings go to Preferences-> General-> Editors->Text Editors->Annotations ->Warnings and then you can de-select the Vertical ruler and Overview ruler options as you prefer. For instance in my attached screenshot you will see I retained the Overview ruler so that I can still see the warnings on the right scrollbar but the left sided view is free to show my bookmarks.
Thanks and Regards Mark
