Go on z/OS - Group home

After the announcement, the latest version of IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Go 1.19 is generally available! Open Enterprise SDK for Go 1.19 fully supports the new IBM z16 architecture to power your digital transformation and deliver Go applications in a shorter time and with fewer new lines of code, resulting in lower costs.

The IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Go 1.19 documentation is also available. Check the following topics for the key enhancements and new features brought from the open-source community:

• Improved implementation for generics to allow Go developers to represent functions and data structures in a generic form. (Using generics to represent functions and types in a generic form)
• Supported an alternative path of IBM Open XL C/C++ 1.1 for use with cgo to run on z/OS® 2.4 or z/OS 2.5. (Installing and configuring IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Go)
• IBM C/C++ for Open Enterprise Languages on z/OS 2.0 allows users to develop with C/C++ dependent packages and libraries using cgo. (Installing and configuring the PAX edition)

Interact with VSAM KSDS data sets using Go recordio module
