PCOMM and HACP EE Server Integration -Interoperability

  

The Personal Communications (PCOMM) Online Session Manager provides a client server model of emulator configuration management for users in addition to the existing localized offline mode.

Interoperability:

Interoperability allows PCOMM users to access PCOMM profiles through Host On-demand (HOD) clients as well as in HACP Extended Edition (HACP EE), after migrating/uploading their profiles to the HACP Server.

Pre-requisites:

       ·       Make sure that PCOMM is installed in the system.

·       Make sure that HOD is install in the system and configured with HACP EE.

Steps to enable PCOMM and HACP EE Integration:

1. Open the PCOMM Preferences Manager (userpm) from windows Start menu.

2. The Preferences Manager window appears.

3. Go to the Advanced tab and provide the below HACP EE server details.

Config server: http://<ServerMachineIP>/interop

Config Server Port: <ServerPort>

4. Click the Apply button to apply changes, and then click OK.

5. Go to the HOD Installation directory and open Config.properties file.

6. Add the parameter “InterOpContextPath=interop

7. Access the HODAdminFull page and select the check box “Allow users to create accounts” and click Log Off.

Configuring Online Session Manager:

1. Press Win+R and enter pcsfm (Personal Communications: Online).

2. Click OK, PCOMM online user creation page appears.

3. To create a new user, enter User Name and Password in respective fields and click OK.

 Note:

·       For existing users, click on the Existing User >> to login.

·       If user wants to create a new user credentials for the second time, update the regedit parameter (HACPEConfigWizStatus) to 0.

4. The Profile Migration tab appears. Click the Yes button to migrate profiles to the HACP server.

5. Create a session from PCOMM.

6. Access the HODFullAdmin to verify the sessions created from PCOMM are available.

7. Access the HACP EE Admin console to verify whether the sessions created from PCOMM are available.
