A new way to raise requirements on Z Software products

You spoke, we listened - We're changing the way ideas are submitted to IBM.

For many years, the IBM Request For Enhancement (RFE) Program has provided an opportunity for customers, business partners and IBMers to suggest changes to our products and services. However, we know from what you have told us that it hasn't always been easy to understand the status of your ideas. This is now about to change. We are now embarking on an IBM-wide program to provide you with a better way to tell us what you need.

We have migrated your ideas onto a single company-wide IBM Ideas Portal, where we are building a way to provide you with a single view into your ideas, an easier way to track them and the ability to collaborate with users, partners and IBMers around the world.

All open and closed RFEs for the CICS portfolio of products have been migrated. For each migrated requirement, the now obsolete RFE on DeveloperWorks has a link to its equivalent idea on the portal.

Moving forward, you work with your ideas through an IBM Ideas Portal. You can access your ideas both via the single IBM wide portal, or via a portal scoped just to IBM Z software, the new IBM Z Software Ideas portal.

Please continue to submit your ideas for enhancements to Z Software products.  We always value your feedback, and we hope you will appreciate this more unified approach to requirements handling with more transparency on which requirements can be implemented in a 2-3 year horizon.
