IBM announced the IBM z16 server on April 5, 2022. Both IBM z/VSE 6.2 as well as our partner’s 21^st Century Software VSEⁿ 6.3 will support IBM z16 and tolerate the new I/O cards:

• FICON Express32S
• OSA-Express7S 1.2
• Crypto Express8S
