High-speed connector configurable connection timeout support provides the capability for you to configure how long the z/TPF system can wait for the endpoints in the group to establish connections to remote endpoints.
Previously, a hard coded value of 1-second was used as the timeout for high-speed connector TLS connections. Some endpoints in the group require larger timeout values to prevent connection timeouts to remote endpoints. With this support, you can specify a connection timeout value for the group in the endpoint group descriptor file. This support improves the functionality and usability of the high-speed connector.
