IBM SDK for z/OS, Java Technology Edition, 7.0 and 7.1 withdrawn from service

IBM® SDK for z/OS®, Java™ Technology Edition, versions 7.0 and 7.1 reached end of service (EOS) on April 2022. See Java SDK lifecycle dates.

The documentation for these versions will cease to be maintained after EOS. The existing information will be made available for download only, from IBM Documentation. An extended support contract will be required to open support cases related to problems with IBM SDK for z/OS, Java Technology Edition, versions 7.0 and 7.1 and to access future APAR fixes.

Clients are recommended to upgrade to the latest Java SDKs to maximize their value of their IBM zSystems hardware and to take advantage of the latest language features and other important enhancements.
