CircleCI self-hosted runner for Linux on IBM zSystems and LinuxONE now available!

Support for Linux on IBM zSystems and LinuxONE (s390x) now available in the CircleCI self-hosted runner!

In partnership with CircleCI, we're delighted to announce that the self-hosted runner for CircleCI is now available for download on Linux for IBM zSystems and LinuxONE (s390x)!

The support also includes Power (ppc64le), so it allows organizations looking for a simple way to test their builds for s390x and ppc64le to do so.

If you're already using CircleCI for your builds but don't have access to s390x resources, we invite you to sign up for a Linux virtual machine on the IBM LinuxONE Community Cloud and give the new runner a try. If you're a representative of an open source project, you may also apply for permanent development resources through our open source program by filling out the IBM LinuxONE Open Source Cloud Virtual Machine(s) Request Form.

If you're new to CircleCI, you can find information about the self-hosted runner in CircleCI’s self-hosted runner overview and follow instructions for installation on a Linux VM by following the instructions in the Machine runner installation on Linux documentation.
