On September 15th 2021 the third annual IBM Z Day was held.
We were delighted to welcome Neale Ferguson of Sine Nomine Associates to present on .NET for Linux on IBM Z and LinuxONE in the Open Z track.
In this talk, he got into the background of what .NET is, some of the history of how it evolved, and finally how it came to be available on Linux for IBM Z and LinuxONE. He then walked attendees through building a simple application on .NET.
The video is now available on YouTube: IBM Z Day: .NET on IBM Z and LinuxONE
And you can download the slides here: IBM Z Day 2021: .NET on IBM Z and LinuxONE Slides, as part of the .NET topic group Library.
Since this talk was given in September, this was prior to the recent .NET 6 release, but he did note availability in November.
