The Open Z track has been a staple of IBM Z Day since our first event in 2019. This year we're thrilled to return on September 15th!
This year we have a formal call for proposals, so now is your chance to get your proposal in: https://ibm.biz/zday21-cfp
We welcome any submissions related to open source, but if you're looking for inspiration, the following topics with an open source spin are of great interest to us:
- Client stories
- Application Modernization
- Project updates
- Kubernetes (including the OpenShift, Rancher, and CDK products) and containerization
- CI/CD workflows
The first one on that list is a great emphasis this year because we received tremendously positive feedback last year about sessions that included clients. So if you're a user, or an ISV with clients you can bring in for the event, this is a great opportunity to really make an impact with your session.
We hope to see your proposal soon! And feel free to reach out to me, Elizabeth K. Joseph, directly at lyz@ibm.com if you have any questions about the submission process or the event, I'd be happy to work with you.
