The IBM Automatic Binary Optimizer for z/OS, V2.1 documentation was refreshed in 4Q 2020. Updates mainly include:

PTF updates (UI72097, UI72098)

Introduces a new tool, the ABO Performance Advisor to automate all the individual steps required to efficiently optimize your COBOL application using ABO and to clearly report on the CPU time savings from using ABO. (See ABO Performance Advisor)
Introduces new syntax for the CSECT and member separator and negation. (See CSECT and BOPT)
Improves the ABO IVP by detecting if MACHMIG VEF is set. (See Verifying installation using the Installation Verification Program (IVP))
