Formed as a space for mainframers to connect in one spot, Destination z has focused on the community since day one. As Destination z turns five in July, we look to celebrate our members who help make it the great community it is.
In five years, the site has grown 6,000 members strong, featured a variety of content
and forum topics, started caricature drawings
at conferences, given financial assistance
to dozens of enterprise-computing students and introduced new features like the Resource Center
In July, we will focus on the website and community in various ways by spotlighting people who make up the community, featuring some of our most popular content, having forum discussions that we would love for you to weigh in on—get started by telling us what community means to you—and an infographic that is out of this world. New content and information will be online a few times a week in July.
Follow along and weigh in by signing into your account—or join now
if you aren’t a member—using our hashtag #Dzat5 on social media and submitting your own Member Spotlight
to introduce yourself to the community.
