Enterprise COBOL for z/OS 6.4 documentation is refreshed today to include the following enhancements:

Enhancements in COBOL 6.4 with PTFs installed: (For a complete list of Enterprise COBOL PTFs, check https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/604539):

• PH59733: Added support for JSON null values, which can be generated by JSON GENERATE and parsed by JSON PARSE. (JSON GENERATE statement and JSON PARSE statement)

Documentation fixes in COBOL 6.4:

- In Programming Guide:

• Corrected: there is no abbreviation for the APOST option. (APOST/QUOTE)
• Corrected and added details about how to specify the COBOL runtime option AMODE3164. (COBOL runtime option AMODE3164)

- In Migration Guide:

• Added the End of support (EOS) dates for Enterprise COBOL for z/OS 6.2 and Enterprise COBOL Value Unit Edition for z/OS 6.2. (COBOL compilers by name and version).
• Clarified the solutions to fix an unexpected ABEND due to an older version of ILBOABN0. (ILBOABN0 considerations)
• Added comparison of Db2 precompiler and the integrated Db2 coprocessor for Host variables defined in the FILE SECTION and made the title more corresponds to the content. (Differences between the Db2 precompiler and the integrated Db2 coprocessor)

- In Customization Guide:

• Clarified that you need to rebuild your reserved word table using the latest IGY8RWRD or IGY8CICS. (Creating or modifying a reserved word table)
