The IBM Tivoli Monitoring Agent for z/TPF V1.1.4.1 (01.14.01.00) is available for download from the TPF Family Products: Tools web page. This version adds support for extended system work blocks (XWBs). It also broadens the numeric length of VFA metrics.
APAR PJ45291 added support for continuous data collection to collect XWBs.
This version of the Monitoring Agent for z/TPF includes various enhancements.
Additions were made to the following attribute groups:
1. System Shutdown Counts:
- Added Input List and Time Available Supervisor tasks for XWBs.
- Changed CREM Macro, CRED Macro, and CREX Macro to reference XWBs instead of SWBs. This change only reflects the fact that create-type macros use XWBs and not SWBs to schedule ECB creation and does not change the values or how they are collected.
2. System Blocks:
- Added the Extended System Work block type to monitor XWB information.
3. Blocks in Use Percentage:
- Added the Extended System Work block type to monitor XWB information.
4. VFA Summary of All Subsystems:
- Changed the precision of the Values column to a length of 10 instead of 8.
5. VFA by Subsystem:
- Changed the precision of the Reads per Sec, File Immediates per Sec, Candidate Files per Sec, Non-Candidate Files per Sec, and Force Files per Sec columns to a length of 10 instead of 8
