At the time of purchase, IBM LinuxONE Expert Care now enables clients to choose the number of years, and level of support to support their business needs.  The IBM LinuxONE warranty is rich with features such as installation and configuration, predictive analytics, remote or onsite code loads, and 24x7 hardware service.  Expert Care enables clients to extend that 1-year warranty to up to 5 years at the Advanced Level. Premium includes additional features including a Technical Account Manager who combines technical expertise with a proactive plan, serves as the key client interface for in-scope hardware and software, delivers partnership and consultancy, as well as direct engagement on high priority Support cases to help clients keep their systems running at the highest levels of availability.

 

In the deploy and optimize phases, our services arm, IBM Technology Services, helps clients deploy an enterprise-grade Linux environment for the IBM LinuxONE platforms to enable open, modern solutions in the data center with trusted operations and unrivaled economics. Services are available for many popular Linux distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, and SUSE along with virtualization options including z/VM, KVM, and LPAR. We help clients accelerate adoption and use of Red Hat OpenShift container platforms along with many cutting edge modern applications that run on the LinuxONE platform. In the optimize phase we help clients tune their systems for maximum performance and leverage operational best practices. Specialized offerings for clients new to the platform include support of select open-source solutions and assistance in migrating from costly x86 Linux environments to cost-effective and scalable alternatives on LinuxONE or IBM zSystems.
