OMEGAMON for Storage now retrieves data for DFSMShsm with host type File. This data is available in Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) and E3270UI interfaces.
New DFSMShsm Filemode host support was added in APAR OA58870. This new DFSMShsm function provides the ability to start a separate DFSMShsm HSMPlex that will exclusively process UNIX files.
All workspaces under “DFSMShsm Status” in Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) and E3270UI interfaces were modified to provide information for both DFSMShsm HSMPlexes.
The New DFSMShsm host type File monitoring feature is available with APAR OA62094 (PTF UJ06726).
