With the release of v3.1, we are offering 2 new products: IBM Watson Machine Learning for z/OS v3.1 - Enterprise Edition and IBM Watson Machine Learning for z/OS v3.1 - Core Edition.

IBM Watson Machine Learning for z/OS - Enterprise Edition 3.1 is the continued evolution of WMLz v2.4, offering a full featured and end to end machine learning development, deployment and lifecycle management platform. Clients leveraging this offering will benefit from the data and transactional gravity of the IBM Z platform, developing and deploying their AI models close to their mission critical transactional workloads for near real time in-transaction inferencing and degrees of magnitude improvement in their SLAs.

IBM Watson Machine Learning for z/OS - Core Edition 3.1 offers a lightweight yet enterprise grade set of REST API-based core AI services that includes online scoring, making it easy for applications running on z/OS to leverage this offering as their AI engine as part of their solution.

Our latest release comes packed with exciting new features and an improved user experience including an updated configuration tool, security enhancements and secure open-source AI packages with embedded IBM Z platform for Apache Spark 3.2 and Python AI Toolkit for z/OS. Our platform also features enhanced support for deep learning models with the ONNX or IBM Z Deep Learning Compiler, ensuring that our clients can take advantage of the latest breakthroughs in AI research and development.
