At IBM we recognize that more and more of our customers are moving their workloads to the cloud which includes file storage. So Cognos Analytics has added the ability to burst to an S3 bucket from the cloud storage provider of choice using the ' Save to Cloud ' feature. What is S3? S3 (Simple Storage Service) is the largest-scale object storage service of any cloud infrastructure provider. How can I obtain S3 storage? Purchase from your choice of Cloud provider IBM Cloud Object Storage Amazon S3 Microsoft Azure Storage Google Cloud Storage MinIO (Mount S3 bucket on local disk) etc... Steps 1) Create a connection with a Cloud Object Storage provider 2) Create storage connection in Cognos Analytics 3) Create schedule and in the Delivery field choose "Save to Cloud" See screenshot below
