I learned that there are two different portals...
in the old days we would have said : to confuse the Russian ..
Why maintaining 2 applications ?
I tested the recommended link and could agree, that this is faster, and returning better results..

Thank for all update/help

I learned that there are two different portals. One is IBM docs and the other is the product hub. IBM docs is the one the team is improving.
Use this --> IBM Docs: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2/11.5
Don't use this --> Product hub: https://www.ibm.com/support/producthub/db2/docs/content/SSEPGG_11.5.0/com.ibm.db2.luw.welcome.doc/doc/welcome.html
The team just finished reindexing 11.5 docs in IBM Docs. They're continuing to reindex other versions, as well. They're telling me it's fast.
@Ember Crooks, @Jean-Marc BLAISE, @Guy Przytula - when you can, I'd really appreciate if you could spare us a few minutes and give it a little test.

I started counting at one point today because it was so frustrating. I didn't start until several seconds after clicking a link in the search KC results for 11.1 (one of the json functions) and it took a full 20 seconds from the point I started counting for the page to come up.

Intermittent performance... That's the most difficult one to debug... I'll forward your comment to the relevant team.

Hi Philip,
I also bumped into "V10.1" titles in 11.5 documentation.
I am attaching screen shot.

Hi Philippe,
Regarding "keystore_location", it takes about 1,5 s as I test it.
But a 2nd search (just re-input the same), click in gives "
Search couldn't find any matches.Be aware of your spelling. Even a single, misspelled word can impact your results.
The more specific your search terms are, the better quality search results you will receive."
I search for "what's new", it took about 8 s. Then 2nd search same as above.
Reload documentation 11.5 and search "what's new", it takes less than 1.5 s.
It can also depends on the period of the day. This afternoon, Paris time, it was quite slow working with documentation center.
Best regards,
JMB

Hi all.
My name is Philip Cho. I manage Db2 support. First of all, thank you so much for sharing your feedback.
I am very sorry for the troubles you're going through. I've been working with the documentation infrastructure team, and had informed them of your concerns in this thread. It seems that the performance problem is somewhat addressed.
But, I'd really appreciate if somone in this thread could do a quick test. For example, @Jean-Marc BLAISE mentioned that it took 8 seconds to search for "keystore_location". How about these days?

Hi all,
The newly deployed DB2 Documentation is so slow ... it seems to me it is running on an old IBM PC with 32 MB RAM (yes that existed !).
Can you do something about it ? Pages seem to be very heavy to download !
Any chance we can get a download of Infocenter DB2 11.5 to run locally ?
Best regards, JMB
