Hello,
Now that dmctop has been out for a couple of months, I wanted to post a few more observations / critiques / comments in hopes that they might be addressed in the future.
1. On the Connections screen: I would like to see an Option to filter engine EDUs (db2fw*, db2stmm, db2taskd, etc.) as they are always in EXECUTING state
2. Bug: The "Reset baseline" pop-up is not modal – it's possible to hit shortcut keys and take focus away from the "Do you want to reset baseline" window,
3. Performance: Switching between delta/actual mode can take many seconds to reflect on-screen (i.e. you won't see a change until after the next refresh period). It would be nice if the metrics were refreshed immediately when changing modes.
4. Usability: Would like the ability to change refresh time without having to quit and restart with different `-i` option
5. Usability: The column-based view of HADR screen is MUCH harder to read than what's in dsmtop. If you want to retain a column view, use 1 column for each copy (primary, standby 1, standby 2, standby 3) and work to keep the equivalent elements on the same line for each column.
6. Bug: When starting dmctop against a local database, there dmctop should not print a warning about SSL (it should only be visible when connecting across the network with -n and -r options)
7. When filtering large views (like package cache): is the display order factored in to the query (i.e. ORDER BY column FETCH FIRST n ROWS ONLY) ?
8. Bug: CPU usage % always shows 0.
Thanks!

Subject: dmctop Release Frequency
Hi DMC Support Team,
I am very pleased with the initial release of dmctop – it addresses many of the issues that existed with dsmtop. I'm especially happy about being able to reset the baseline, as this was probably the largest deficiency in dsmtop.
A couple of suggestions / comments:
1. I'd love to see the menu area re-thought. It currently takes up the first 37 columns of the terminal window, which is a lot of wasted space.
2. On the Connections screen, the metrics shown above the list of connections appear with blank lines in between each row of metrics. This wastes a lot of space (it takes up 20 lines of text to display just 10 lines with data. This "double spacing" issue appears on other screens as well: I/O - Tablespaces (y), I/O - Tables (Y), and Locks (U)
3. I love that I can use the arrow keys to highlight lines that I'm interested in. It would be very convenient if dmctop used the highlighted line as input for the Application Handle (a) or Query Text (L) commands so that you don't have to manually type in the application handle or statement ID manually
4. I'm hopeful that we'll get the option to filter views again (the '/' key in db2top and dsmtop) – this is extremely helpful for the connections screen, and sometimes on the Dynamic SQL screen.
Finally, can you provide any insight into the planned release schedule for dmctop? Will revisions only be released alongside updates to the full DMC, or (as I'm hoping) will it be possible to get more frequent updates (independent of DMC releases)?
Thank you!
