Great to see that they finally released these as PDFs, and I like the look of the pages.
I know I'm late to the party, but there are two improvements that I would like to see. First, someone else said that they had to download all of the files individually. Art said that he was able to download all as a zip, but I didn't see that option. Either the page has changed to remove that option, or I just completely missed it. Either is possible.
Second, and more importantly from a usability standpoint, I'd like to see the table of contents on the left side in Acrobat viewer. When I expand that section, all I get are options to view page thumbnails or attachments. Looking at the SQL Programming manual for instance, I should be able to see a table of contents that lets me scroll through and find CREATE SYNONYM, then click on that to go directly to that topic. As it is now, I have to go to the top of the document, find the TOC where it would appear in a hardcopy manual, scroll through that, and then I can click on the text CREATE SYNONYM. If I'm in the CREATE SYNONYM section and want to jump to another section, I have to go back to the top of the document and repeat that whole process. Or I could do a Ctrl-F find, but that's hit-or-miss depending on where you are in the manual, and it operates very slowly.
With a scrollable TOC on the left side, I can navigate easily from anywhere within the manual. Anyone who worked with the PDF versions of the 11.50, 11.70, or 12.10 docs knows what I mean.
Just my two cents.
Again, I'm grateful that the manuals are finally available in PDF. I now can download them to laptop, phone, tablet, and not have to worry about slow network connections during an emergency support call. The links within the PDF pages are much faster than using links in the online version of the manuals.
Oh, and speaking of the CREATE SYNONYM topic in that manual, does anyone know why the "Related Reference" section for that topic includes "ALTER SEQUENCE statement", "CREATE SEQUENCE statement", "CREATE SCHEMA statement", etc.? And the "Related information" section on that topic includes "Use synonyms for table names" and "Use synonym chains", both of which look like links, but they do not allow me to click on them.
