  • 1.  Cloudera CDP Installer in PartnerWorld Software Access

    Posted Sun August 22, 2021 03:14 AM
Previously, I have used Cloudera for years.  However, we are going to setup a demo lab at local computer lab to demonstrate some solutions as an IBM partner.  Unfortunately, the installer is now downloading the CDH and CM .tar.gz.  (tried with RHEL 7.9, installer 7.1.5, 7.1.6, etc.)

It is just a presales case and not able to place a technical support ticket.  I would like to show the solution at a on-premise environment as the client request rather than Cloud services by AWS or SoftLayer.

Actually, I have following the steps in the URL below:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/quick-start-instructions-cloudera-products

However, the files are never being downloaded successfully during the installation.  I have tried different files since 7.1.3 to 7.1.6 with no luck.

    [root@cdpm1 /]# ./CDPPCB_IBM_V7.1.5_LNX_EN.bin

    Creating directory ./CDPPCB_7.1.5

    Verifying archive integrity... All good.
