Hello Harish,
SSH is required depending on some specific features in DMC. Please refer to the following link:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS5Q8A_3.1.x/com.ibm.datatools.dsweb.ots.security.doc/topics/encrypt_SSH.htmlMake sure that you have the SSH configuration according to the DMC manual.
Also, if the SSH is running on Windows platform, the installation default uses System as the userid in Windows Services. That could cause some privilege errors when running SSH commands from DMC.
The recommendation is to use the Db2 instance owner as the userid property for the SSH Windows Services.
I hope that helps!

Subject: Receiving SSH authentication failure errors
Hi Team,
I have installed the DMC 3.1.2.0 on our environment and tried configuring the databases for monitoring purpose and the connection establishment is successful but our security team is noticing the SSH authentication failure errors at firewall like below
Jul 28 07:13:50 xxxx-xxx-xx-x sshd[16010]: Disconnected from xx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 35494 [preauth]
The DB's are getting monitored but these errors are flowing continuously for them any idea on this? anyone faced this kind of issue ?
