    Hi Team,

For All the DMC collected data  - Collect data every (minutes) & keep data for (days) what will happen to the data held? Will it rollup or discarded?

    Hi Rajesh,

Thank you for contacting us. Here is the answer for your questions:

"Collect data every (minutes)": means how often the monitor collection would happen. The collected data would be stored in the repo DB.

"keep data for (days)": means how long the collected data would be kept in the repo DB. After that, the data would be deleted.

Thanks Kai Ding.  Few of monitoring tools like OPM does a roll up after x days of data retention. Just wanted to confirm the same and I hope the data is deleted and no change to historical view as long as data available inside repository and visualized into console?

    Hi Rajesh,

When you mentioned "roll up", do you mean "aggregate data (to less records)"?

For DMC, there is no "data aggregation", which means all the data in monitor repo DB keeps unchanged, until they are deleted after expiration. So what you said about the historical view and visualization is correct.
