Amit:
Download either the Informix iConnect or CSDK package from IBM and install either of those. If it's just for data access either will do. If you have to do any development on the client box then the CSDK is what you want. Then just copy the appropriate lines from the sqlhosts file on the server to the client box, set INFORMIXDIR to the install directory and you should be good to go.
