Hello Mark,
In my CSDK 4.10.FC15 and 4.50.FC5 the Informix ODBC drivers are present. I tested under 4.50.FC5 the ODBC connection with the cli demo and it works with the soctcp port.
But on non rpm systems, according to machine notes, you have to install and initialize rpm, before installation.
Machine Notes:
Installing the product on Ubuntu or Debian requires RPM to be installed
and initialized. After RPM installed, use the following commands to
initialize RPM:
mkdir -p /var/lib/rpm
rpm --initdb
The bc utility is required by the product installer, and needs to be
installed on Ubuntu.
You can find the CSDK package via Eric's link:

Subject: Linux Informix ODBC driver
So ... trying to find the CSDK for Linux that has the INFORMIX ODBC driver. The latest (or at least what I pulled down) for Linux has, get this, the db2 drivers (!). IBM/HCL confirmed that this is the case in the PMR I opened. But they haven't responded to my escalation - apparently since the tech rep on the PMR originally is on vacation. I asked him if he'd pass the case on and he said yet, but apparently not. The db2 driver talks DRDA to IDS according to tech support. I've escalated the call which did exactly nothing. I even pulled down EE for Linux and dug into the packaged CDSK ... yep - db2. I pulled down a couple of other CSDKs and same thing.
Does anyone have the CSDK for Linux with the IDS drivers sitting around that could be shared? Greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Mark
