IDS 12.10.FC14 (newly upgraded today)
Solaris 10 1/13
I observe this strange message in the online.log:
08/11/20 08:50:25 DR: Warning: The table minversion DBA feature is enabled on this secondary
(flag with value 0x400000 of the SQL_DEF_CTRL onconfig parameter).
Please ensure that this feature is also enabled on the connected
primary server, otherwise the secondary server may not behave as
expected when table minversion changes occur!
I am unfamiliar with "table minversion". Nor is there any parameter SQL_DEF_CTRL present in the ONCONFIG file of either the primary or secondary. However, Server Studio does show the SQL_DEF_CTRL parameter to be set, and it is the same, on both primary and secondary.
I think I'll let tech support know, but ignore it until something catches on fire.
Where does this come from, and what does it mean? Is there some new undocumented feature?
Thank you.
