    Hi Folks,

an interesting question today: does anyone in the community have experience in connecting IDS with Apache Kafka ?
If yes, can you please share your experience.

Thanks a lot and have a great day

Hi Eric,  please note that our IBM InfoSphere Data Replication offerings provide/support CDC (Change Data Capture) technology that can replicate from IDS sources to Kafka targets. Our CDC capture agents employ log-based capture agents for very low impact on source systems, as well as optimized apply agents for feeding many targets (including Kafka, Hadoop, RDBMS's, DataStage, Cloud, etc.), all with transactional integrity.   Please see:

    Hello Eric,

if you need Tipps&Tricks for the InfoSphere CDC Replication from INFORMIX to Kafka just contact me.

I installed this several times and a test system is just next to me where I installed this replication.

I the target is handling with Confluent, then the install should be no problem.
