  • 1.  What is an esql++ file?

    Hello All,
    My client is planning to change the machine of the Informix server and client from AIX to RedHat Linux.
    However, there is an esql++ file in the $INFORMIXDIR/bin directory of the old client, but it doesn't seem to exist in the latest version.
    Does anyone know about this file?

    I saw the article in the link below, and it seems to exist in a very old version.

    I checked up to CSDK version 2.81 and there was no esql++ file.

    SangGyu:

    The esql++ script is part of a package in the IIUG Software Repository maintained by Jonathan Leffler. Look for the esqlc++ package there. The script in that package is called esqlc++.sh, someone probably renamed it on your client's site after installing it.
