  • 1.  Windows 10 Requirements

    I would like to install DB2 Community Edition on my Windows 10 PC. Does this require the Pro edition or will the Home edition suffice?

    Dear Vivek,

    I've installed Db2 Community Edition on our private PC with Windows 10 Home Edition and did not encounter any difference to the Pro Edition.

    it might work - yes..
    but officially it has not been certified for the platform, and in case you have a problem, you can not open a case...
    only PRO or Enterprise edition are   listed

    i have DB2 11.5.x with docker on my win home machine.
    PS:
    in future IBM supports only the DB2 community edition on Docker -
    DB2 LUW panel on Virtual  IDUG -  response from
