DB2 Warehouse / SQL Warehousing - how to get out of our dead-end?

    Hi,

We installed DB2 around about 2009, and then built a data warehouse solution on top of it as part of a bundled solution from IBM.  The main ETL tool used was originally called Infosphere Designer I believe, but has subsequently changed names.

We are currently running DB2 10.5.5, having previously upgraded from 9.7 and 9.5.  The ETL solution is now called simply DB2 Warehouse and includes the  client designer component (an Eclipse application) and the web-based scheduler "SQL Warehousing".  We have been advised that all of this is now End of Life, and the web-based tools cause us issues because parts don't work any more due to the absence of Flash.  Also the client software won't run on the current version of WIndows, and all of this is preventing us from upgrading DB2 past version 11.1, as I understand it.  There is precious little information available anywhere on IBMs website about any of this, which is less than ideal.

Has anyone else here previously used these tools, then migrated on from them?  I have heard that Datastage is a possible option, but have no details about how to do this.

    Thanks,

    - Rob
