  • 1.  db2 11.1 docker image

I'm trying to validate a product against db2 11.1 and would like to set up tests against a docker image.  The only image I can find online is 11.5 which is newer that the version we need and which apparently doesn't allow tablespaces "managed by database".
I find mention online of docker versions back to 10.x so presumably there has at some point been a docker image of 11.1.  Is there anywhere I can find it now?  Alternatively, I can build my own from a fix pack but it doesn't seem to be straightforward to do so, and my attempts have failed with the fault monitor not starting.

    Anybody able to help me?

    Thanks.

I do not see a reason why you need dms tablespace, because this is deprecated
you can use a fixpack (v11 or earlier) to do a new install, you just need the license file. a fixpack is a product replacement
for the monitor problem, you need to supply more details..

    Hi,

To my knowledge we started with Docker containers for the transactional version in V11.1 FP4 to support Cloudpak for Data.  You also get Db2 V11 as warehouse edition which is containerized available on dockerhub.

'Managed by database ' is depreacated since some time so you should really evaluate automatic storage there.

If you don't get it there you should place a request in your support connection line to IBM.
