  • 1.  BLU secondary indexes

    Hi,

    the following statements indicate that Db2 11.1.3.3 suports secondary indexes on BLU tables.

    "- ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE can now move BLU secondary indexes.
    - Allow COMPRESS YES/NO option on create and alter index statement for columnar tables.    "

    CREATE INDEX on a BLU table results in SQL1667 -> "The operation failed because the operation is not supported with the type of the specified table."

    Am I right to assume that secondary indexes are supported with Db2 11.1.3.3 but functionality is not included in the latest build?

    Hi  @G.Paulus .  No, despite those messages support for secondary indexes is not yet available in 11.1.3.  Stay tuned!​
