  • 1.  DMC Console - HADR Monitoring

Hi , I have few questions with respect to monitoring the HADR from DMC console

    1) Whether we need to add the HADR information while setting up a new connection profile only , since after i setup a connection profile normally and later if i want to add the HADR details for monitoring , do i need to delete the connection profile and create newly ?

2)How about monitoring the auxiliary standbys, since while setting up the HADR monitoring , it asking only the primary standby , but dont see an option to ask for the other standby servers .

Could you please advise on these .

    Thanks,
    Saravanan S

    Hi Saravanan,

    1)  You'd better to delete the normal connection profile and create a new HADR monitor profile. In case of a possible double monitor.
    2)  When you add the HADR connection profile, you need to input the connection information for the primary node of HADR. After the "Initialize HADR" is checked, all its standby members will displayed
. Here are guidelines for adding an HADR monitor profile: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2-data-mgr-console/3.1.x?topic=monitoring-adding-hadr-connection-profile.
